Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Ottawa on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of Youssef Zourob.
Loving mother of Najib (Denise El Sayah), Nabil (Sandra Nesrallah), Labib (Vera Maamari), Nabila (Joseph Feiha), Nabih (Habeba Boueiri), Nadim (Yolla Ghanem), Roula (Pierre Chamoun), and Naji (Romy Mounzer).
Cherished grandmother of Katrine, Youssef, Karine (Najib), Stephanie, Andrew (Nabil), Elias, Ramona, John (Labib), Alison, Macy, Yorgo (Nabila), Joseph, Joelle, Maribelle (Nabih), Justin, Nadine, Tia (Nadim), Rebecca, Charbel, Chanelle (Roula), Zachary, and Zoe (Naji).
Dear sister of Laurice Chahine; predeceased  by Hannah, Nicolas, and Evelyn Chahine.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and friends from Canada and abroad.
Ivon’s spirit of compassion, strength, resilience, generosity, and selfless devotion created a legacy that will continue to guide and bless her family and live on eternally in their hearts.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sts Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 N River Rd, Ottawa. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
