Passed away in Ottawa on Friday, January 27,  2023.
Beloved husband of Nadia Salameh Shalash.
Loving father of Salem – Sam (Sylva Zidan) and Rania of Ottawa; Ziad (Rasha Kabalan) of Sweden; Sylva (Jean Chehaid) of Iraq.
Cherished grandfather of Rachel, Pierre and George Chehaid;  Jamil, Joud, Carlos, Mia and Matteo Al Bardawil.
Dear brother of Emad (Leila Shamieh), Samiha (Joseph Jbeil), Feryal and  Fadia (Ibrahim Mtanios), all of Ottawa; Samih (Wardeh Maher), Terez (Joseph Shamieh) and the late Mary ,all of Syria.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm  followed by funeral service.
In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Church would be appreciated.
