Obituary – Joseph Lakkis

Joseph Lakkis
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday,  April 7, 2023 at the age of 74.
Joseph leaves behind his loving wife Yolande (nee Naoufal) as well as his adoring children, Christiane Papodopoulo (Elie), Cynthia Papadopoulo (Kamal) and Elias (Mirna Absi).
He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Georges, Matheo, Santina, Antoine and Gia.
Fondly remembered by his siblings Tony (Janice), Nouhad Basbous (late Gaby) as well as his in-laws May Juraydini (late Adel), Ghassan Naoufal (Dany) and Nadim Naoufal (Marianne). Predeceased by his sister Marie.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa.
The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral   or to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated
