Dear uncle of Bassam Hamwi (Kelly), Fadi Hamwi (Grace), Charles Sabbagh (Chimen), George Sabbagh, Ramy Sarouf, Marc Sarouf and great uncle of Milad, Ramzy, Jasmine, Noah, Zackary and Claudia.
Dear brother-in-law of Nabil Zakhour (Frieda) of Abu Dhabi, Nazih Zakhour (Randa), Noha (late Nabil Nasser) and Najwa  (John Wood) all of Ottawa.
