Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2026, surrounded by her family at the age of 82.
Devoted wife of the late Ahmad Olleik for fifty-three years.
Loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Beloved mother of Samir Olleik (Nawal Tahan), Mona Olleik (Abdul-Rahman Mazloum), Jamal, and Tarek Olleik.
Proud Teta of Reem, Mariam, Jordan, Ahmad O., Ahmad M., Ranya, Jad, Jasmine, Mariam J., and Shakira.
Dear sister of Mohamed Husseini (Liyal), Imad Husseini (Camille), Salah Husseini (Fatima), Ahmed Husseini (Suzanne), Khaled Husseini (Marjorie), Hassan Husseini (Abir), Khawla (Mohammed), Sanaa (Ahmad), and the late Aaliyah Husseini.
Our most heartfelt thanks and gratitude go to all of the caring nurses of the Inpatient Unit at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus, for their compassion, kindness, and care.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa.
Janaza prayers will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026  at 11:00 a.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, followed by interment at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037  McGee Side Road, Carp – ON.
