Obituary – Marie Kebbé Bazerly

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday,  May 16, 2025, a few weeks shy of her 88th birthday.
Born in El-Mina, Lebanon on June 27, 1937.
Beloved wife of late Hanna Bazerly.
Daughter of late Elias Kebbé and Fadwa Amchiti.
Loving mother of Abdo (Maggie Najm), Zarifé and Nicolas (Giselle Naoufal).
Cherished  grandmother of Justine, Nathanaël and Noah.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Alexandra (late Elias) and the families of her late brothers: Hanna (Henriette), Abdo (late Malaké), Fouad (Jeanette), Farah (Josephine) and Joāo (late Vera Maria) and her many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, Lebanon, Australia and Brazil.
Marie was a humble woman who lived a quiet life devoted to her family.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Peter D. Clark, Long Term Care Center for their exceptional care and compassion.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Friday, May 23, 2025 from  12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, followed by funeral service.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.
