Obituary – Marie Mrad Sarkiss

Passed away in Ottawa  surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of the late Malki Sarkiss.
Dear daughter of the late Habib Mrad and Farida Touma,
Loving mother of Touma Sarkiss (Pauline Haddad), Mona (Emile Chamoun), Rose (the late Jebran Kourieh), Liliane (Georges Jarjoura), Nada (Abdo Merhej) and Jeannette (Robert Azzi).
She will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cherished sister of Amal (Elias Nassif);  predeceased by Gabriel Mrad (Afaf), Shamma (the late Youssef Behnan), Hasna (the late Abdallah Khoury) and Nouhad .
She will be missed by her cousins Mrad Mrad, Gebran Mrad and their families.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday May 16, 2022 between 5:00 and 9:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Syriac Catholic Parish, 749 Trojan Avenue Ottawa. Internment to follow at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street.
