(November 11, 1942 – February 24, 2025)
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mouna Wanisse Daou on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Daou.
Loving mother of Rita (Elias Merheb), Najib (Carole), Hanna (Eliane), Antoinette (Nick Mikhael), and Georges (Gabriella).
Proud Taita of Aboud and Adam Merheb; Joseph, Anthony, Samantha, George, Michelle, Joseph, Stephany, Melany, Sharel and Charbel Daou; Mona, John and George Mikhael; great-grandmother of Christina, Marita and Mateo Merheb.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Thursday February 27, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home (1411 Hunt Club road).
Funeral service will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to  St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
