Obituary – Mounir Abdallah Nesrallah

With deep sorrow, we share the sudden passing of our dear Mounir on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 74.
Mounir was a devoted husband of Mageda Nesrallah. He was predeceased by his wife Karen Tannis Nesrallah, mother of Raymond, Melissa, and Kathryn.
He was the cherished son of the late Abdallah and Maria Nesrallah, and dear brother of Labibi (Afif Saikali), Yvonne (Youssef Hanna), and his extended family here and in Lebanon.
He was predeceased by his siblings Sami (Amale Nesrallah), Georgette, Edmond, Simon (Amira Nesrallah), and Raymond.
Mounir was known for his generous heart and unwavering integrity. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Mounir spent his entire working career at Tannis Food Distributors and was a key member of the ownership and management team that helped grow the company into the largest independent food distributor in Eastern Ontario.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025  at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa. Interment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
In  lieu of flowers, and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to Ottawa Salus (Karen’s Place) or to St. Elias Cathedral , would be appreciated.
