Obituary – Nassib Hanna Salhany

Nassib (Ned) Salhany
( December 29, 1930 – December 11, 2023 )
Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023, in hospital surrounded by his beloved family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Afaf Barakat Salhany.
He will be dearly missed by his children Daniel, Lisa (Pierre-Alain), Elizabeth (Gordon), and his grandson, Julien, who forever remains the light of his eyes.
Nassib is predeceased by his parents, as well as his brothers and sisters, Milia, Nicholas, Zakia, George, Bader, Tanous, and Michel.
Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home – 1411 Hunt Club Road – Ottawa, and  on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral – 2975 Riverside Drive,  Ottawa – followed by funeral service.
Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery – 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa.
