Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024.
Beloved son of the late  Lydia and Elias  Abou-Assaly.
Loving husband of Sophie Dahdouh.
Dear brother of Nicolas (Daad Maalouf), George, John (Bahaa Abdelkarim), Michel (Hanaa Abou-Assaly) and the late Dounia (Emile El-Agha). Dear brother-in-law of Tony, Nidal, George, and the late Ghassan Hajjar.
Much loved  uncle of Khouloud, Denise, Rony and Roger El-Agha;  Ghassan, Imad, Nicole, Pascale, Fadi, Lydia, Elias, Christine and Mary-Lynne Abou-Assaly.
Cherished stepfather of Simon (Linda), Gabby (Kelly), and the late Robbie Dahdouh.
Much loved cousin of the Debs family.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm  at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel – 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024  at 10:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral – 2975 Riverside Drive.
Interment at Hope Cemetery – 4660 Bank Street, Gloucester.
