Obituary – Nicholas Elias Saikaley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear  Nicholas on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the age of 100.
Beloved husband of Alice Saikaley.
Loving father of Gordon (Elizabeth), Rosemary (Dennis), Sandra and Eli (Amal).
Cherished grandfather of Leisha, Shane, Amanda, Jessica, Erica, Michael, Tyler and Nicholas.
Great Grandfather of Kareem, Yousef and Amalia.
Dear son of Elia and Salemi.
Caring brother of Loutfie, Loutfia, Eva, Halim (Mira) Kareem (Nawal) and Nancy.
Nicholas was a hard working man who dedicated his energy to his business and his family. He will be most remembered for his gentleness, kindness and loving demeanor.
He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Lebanon.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00  at St. Elias Antiochican Orthodox Cathedral,  2975 Riverside Drive followed by  funeral service.
Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa.
In  lieu of flowers, and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral , would be appreciated.
