Passed away at home surrounded by his  family on  Tuesday October 4, 2022  at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of  Yvonne Abouzeid.
Loving  father of Tony (Julie youssef), Danny (Carole Nehme),  Suzanne,  Marleine (Youssef Kiwan) and Eddy (Anne Marie El- Hage).
Cherished grandfather of Pamela (Johnny Matta) , Jessica, Stephanie, Samantha, Jasmine, Leah, Emma, Chanel,Joelle, Anthony, Tatiana,  Lorita, Paloma  and Adriana and great grandfather of Ayla Matta.
Dear brother of Soeur Samia, Leila Sobhie and  Houda Nesrallah;  predeceased by Georges,  Sami and Laure.
The family will receive relatives  and friends on Thursday October 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6.
Funeral service will be held on Friday October 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa.
In memory of Nicolas, donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Church and  Ottawa Regional  Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
