Passed away in Ottawa, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday May 19, 2025, at the age of 65.
Beloved son of Antoinette Elmor and the late Michel Abou-Hanna.
Devoted husband of Doreen Abou-Hanna (née Rizk).
Loving father of Marie (Ronald Schneider), Natalie (Salah Alkadhi) and Elias Louis.
Cherished grandfather of Mya Ann, Anastasia and Leland Schneider; Gabriel David and Isaiah Philippe Alkadhi.
Caring brother of Antoine, Elie and Joseph (Therese Kadri), all of Ottawa; David (Elham Keyruz) and George (Samia Fikany), all of Lebanon.
Much loved uncle of Michael (Dalia Al Hayek), Nicolas, Michel, Elio, Janette and Christopher, all of Ottawa; Stephanie (Joseph Zeinne), Sandy (Jehad Saliba), Amanda, Dominique and Patrick, all of Lebanon.
Dear nephew of Amal Abou-Hanna (Late Antoine Maalouf) and Hamid Abou-Hanna (Joanne Menard), all of Ottawa; Dib Abou-Hanna (Late Marie Chahine), Sr. Philomene Abou-Hanna, Youssef Abou-Hanna (Late Dalal Maalouf), Pierre Abou-Hanna (Chiraz Turkman) and Souad Abou-Hanna (Late Assaad Rouhana); predeceased by Fares  Abou-Hanna (Late Rafqa Chemaly), Georgette Abou-Hanna (Late Fares Saker), Elias Almor, Sami Almor (Bushra  Qoba) and Marie Almor (late Gerges Abboud) ,  all of Lebanon.
Brother-in-law of Colette Haddad, Tommy Rizk, Denise Rizk (Joseph Issa), George Rizk (Lydia Rizk) and Johnny Rizk (Shawna Rizk).
Philippe was hard working, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for others. He lived his life with love and devotion for his family and those around him. He gave all he could, he is loved by his family and will be forever missed.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 5:00  to 9:00 p.m. at  Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa and on Monday, May 26, 2025, from 10:00 to  11:00 a.m.  at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa, followed by Funeral Service.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
