Passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the age of 83.
She took her last breath on the 22nd which marks the day of Saint-Charbel’s most extraordinary miracle.
Beloved daughter of the late Kanaan Kanaan and Aziza Boumrad,
Loving wife of Frank Saikaley.
Caring stepmother of Susan Saikaley (Peter (Chich) Mineault), Tony Saikaley and Diane Saikaley (Jacques Carisse).
Cherished Teta of Ricky, Peter, Jenna, Kelsey and Mikhael.
Devoted aunt of 33 admiring nieces and nephews.
Survived by her loving and brave sisters Marie (late Elias Kharyati) and Mounira (Semaan Semaan); predeceased by her brother Philippe Kanaan (Nadia Kanaan), her sisters Samira (late Joe Thomas), Hanneh (late Halim Makhoul), Victoria (late Fares Saikaley), and Soeur Emmanuelle.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
Rose did not wish to have flowers.
