Obituary – Samia (Soumaya) Jarbouh

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samia Jarbouh  on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the age of 79, with her loving husband, Georges Jarbouh by her side.
Predeceased by her parents Fouad and Najla Azzi,
Devoted mother of Rita (Mile Loncar), Elie (Shantal Deschamps), Norma (Patrick Eliassaint), Madona (Kenny Walls) and Anne (Philippe Desbiens).
Cherished grandmother of Marko, Elijah, Kaleb, Téah, Sofia, Maja, Jorja, Stella, Talia and Emma.
Loving sister of Sami (Dunia Azzi), George (Samia Monsour), Juliette (Saade Azzi-Australia), Jeannette (Elias Monsour), John JP (Cheryl Davis), Joseph (Laila Chouaa) and Genevieve (George Lattouf).
Much loved sister in-law of  Abdo (Hayat Haddad),  Amal (late Beyhan Tosun), Nawal, Elie (Souad Gedeon), Ghada (Georges Hanna), Therese (Mark Dickson) and Nahia (George Haddad). Caring  aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Samia was known for her devout faith, strength, and open heart. She radiated love to everyone she met, always approaching life with grace and a joyful spirit. She loved life, laughter, and will be deeply missed by her many friends and family.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00  to 8:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, and on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish, Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa, followed by funeral service.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetary.
Many thanks to the Extendicare Laurier Manor Nursing Home doctors, nurses, management and staff for all the care, support, and respect she was given.
