Obituary – Samir Mikhael Abou-Nehme

Samir Mikhael Abou-Nehme
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age 84 surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved son of the late Mikhael Abou-Nehme and the late Wardia Saab of Lebanon.
Beloved husband of 51 years of Souham (Sue) Saab Abou-Nehme.
Loving father of Michael (Jihan Laham) and Tony (Sally Harik).
Proud Jido of 5 bright and beautiful granddaughters, his ultimate pride and joy: Maria and
Paulina Abou-Nehme, Angelina, Alexa and Arianna Abou-Nehme, who will remember him by
his love of hide and seek and giving them the best horsey rides!
Dear brother of Joseph (Najah Zarzour), Josephine (Late George Nesrallah) and Marie
(Joseph Wehbe) all of Ottawa; and the late John (Nouha Nesrallah) and Nadeem (Bertha
Hanna) of Lebanon.
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and
extended family in Canada, USA and Lebanon.
A special thank you to all the staff at the Oakpark Retirement Home for all the care and
attention.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday November 25, 2022 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm  at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON.
