It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother Samira Bechaalani on Monday,  January 13, 2025 at the age of 78.
Beloved wife of the late George Bechaalani.
Loving mother of Michael (Andrea), Nabila, Micheline (Martin Wolf), Nabil (Erin), Pierre (Barbara) and Leyla, all of Ottawa and Gatineau.
Cherished Teta of Jennifer Iskandar (Olivier Guenette), Rhea Iskandar (Kalian Jacquemin-Mascotto), Emile, Nicholas, Christopher, Liam and Isla.
She is  survived by her brother Fouzie Machaalani and many family and friends in Lebanon, United States and Canada.
Predeceased by her parents and her older Brother Emile Machaalani and his wife Saada.
She devoted her life to her family , She was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart, she was the heart and soul of our family her infectious smile will be missed by all
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00pm. at Beechwood Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.
Funeral Service will be held  on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St., Ottawa.
Interment  at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa Ontario.
