Obituary – Thérese  Mahfouz El-Helou

Passed away peacefully in Ottawa, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 14, 2024.
In her eternal journey, she will be reunited with her beloved  husband, Antoine El-Helou, embracing the peace and love that awaits them in heaven.
Loving mother of Ghassan (Marcelle), Ghada (Antoine) and Roger (Mireille).
Cherished grandmother of Andrea (François), Lara, Rana (Jean-Marc), Maya, Jad, Andrew, Sharbel, Rita, Pascale and all her great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Mahfouz Mahfouz of Australia; preceded in death by her siblings the late George Mahfouz, Elie Mahfouz, Marwan Mahfouz, Georgette Abou-Eid, Rose Karam and Marie Kassab.
She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at  McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel,  1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa.
Funeral service will  be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at  11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish, Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel  Church would be appreciated.
