Obituary – Vera Chahwan Boutros

Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Thursday,  October 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 70.
Beloved wife of Michel Boutros.
Loving mother of Maroun Boutros (Sarah MacDougall), Elie Boutros, and Rita Boutros (Fares Said).
Cherished grandmother of Michel, Éloïse, Anastasia, Athanasius and Arsenius.
Much loved sister of  Laure Chahwan (Adel Chahwan) and Nouhad Chahwan (Najwa Khoury).
Dear sister-in-law of  Mourad Boutros (Arlette Haddad), Emile Boutros (May El Khoury), Joseph Boutros (Fadia El Harran), John Boutros (Maha El Baba) and Boutros Boutros (late Anne Carrasset) and their families in Canada and abroad.
Special thanks to the Ottawa General Hospital and her caregivers for their love and support during her final days
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 5:00 to  9:00pm at Beechwood Cemetery , 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00am at Saint Charbel Parish, Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald  St.  followed by burial at Beechwood Cemetery.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Church  or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
