Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the age 88.
Beloved wife  of 67 years of  Morris Helal .
Loving mother of Elie Helal (Hayat Ibrahim)  and  Rhonda Helal (John Rassi).
Cherished grandmother of Shayna and Kristin Helal; Matthew and Michael Rassi.
Dear sister of Chouaa  (Joseph Hayek), Charlie  (Bianca Dzafarov) , Omer  (Amal Nahra), George   (Theresa  Ina), the late  Bahjat (Renée   Nahra) and the late Claudette (George  Ina)  Hamway.
She will be missed by her  brother- in-law  and sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Halim Saikaly) , Jaqueline (Said  Kajjouni), George  (Hind Ayoub), Sonia (Joe Beauchamp), Siham (Simon Kouri) and Bertha (Joe Nemer).
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday July 12, 2021 from 10:00 am followed by funeral service at 11:00 am at  Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church – 1161 North River Rd.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registration, distancing and face mask regulations are in effect for those attending.
The visitation and funeral is now full for in person attendance, it will be live streamed at www.funeraweb.tv starting at 11:00  am and is available in replay for up to 200 days after the service.
Interment Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1T 3W7.
